Ekiti State PDP chairman Designate Hon. Deji Ogunsakin flanked by National BoT member, Hon Oke Ojo Michael and the state organising secretary at the official presentation to party members today. Eight out of the Local government party chairmen are present.
The appointment of the PDP New chairman ekiti state Hon Deji Ogunsakin is in line with section 47(6) of the party constitution which states that, "where a vacancy occurs in any of the offices of the party, the Executive Committeee at the appropriate level shall appoint another person from the area or zone where the officer originated from, to serve out the tenure of the officer".
47 Members (more than (2/3) of State Executive Committee signed the Notice of the Extraordinaire State Executive Committee meeting, which was held yesterday, where Deji Ogunsakin was confirmed as the State Chairman of PDP. Notifications has been sent to all security agencies in the state as official information.
